Our principle

LockApps is built so that your private data never leaves your device. We have no servers that store your content, no user accounts, and no analytics that identify you.

What we store

Your passcode, locked/hidden app selections, and imported photos, videos and contacts are stored locally and encrypted on your iPhone. They are never uploaded.

Screen Time permission

App lock and app hiding use Apple's Family Controls (Screen Time) framework. This permission stays on-device and is used only to shield or hide the apps you choose.

Photo library access

If you import photos or videos, the app needs photo-library access. Imported media is copied into the encrypted vault; you may then delete the originals.
